SUPPLEMENTAL SPECIAL EDUCATION SERVICES (SSES)
Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) is a new program created by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to help eligible families of students with significant and complex disabilities obtain additional educational services and materials due to school closures caused by COVID-19.
The SSES program creates opportunities for qualifying families to access additional educational products and services (up to $1500 per student) through an online account to supplement the services provided at school. Families of students with significant and complex disabilities are welcome to complete the online application to determine eligibility for this state funded opportunity.
